The design on the pin was dedicated to honor all veterans, no matter what they served for. The first symbol, an eagle, is to show power and strength throughout all who served. The laurel wreath is to symbolize honor, victory and success, because of those who served. The chevron is to show rank and service time. The overall shape of the pin is a shield, signifying protection and safety because of those serving and who have served. The design is centered with the American flag, and the chevron is colored red, white and blue. Six stars are for each branch of service in the military, the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Space Force. The whole purpose of the pin is to thank Veterans for their hard work, sacrifices, and service to get us what we currently have.
