Veterans Pin Submission

The pin that I crafted is for all of our nation’s veterans. No matter if they were in the Coast Guard or Air Force, this pin represents them all. Every single element in my pin holds a special meaning. The stars represent the freedom which was fought for by our veterans, the gun represents the veterans who served in the Marines, the tank represents the veterans who served in the Army, the warship represents the veterans who served in the Navy and Coast Guard, and the combat aircraft represents the veterans who served in the air force. But lastly and most importantly, the saluting soldier shows respect to our veterans. The message I am trying to say with my pin is that we should respect and honor our veterans because we owe our lives to them. Without our veterans, America would be very different.
