Veterans Pin Submission

For my pin design, I decided to create a shield with stars and anchors on it. The shield represents what the veterans have fought to protect. They are the shield over us to protect us. The reason that we can walk freely with no worry is because of the veterans. The star is to show the families that are suffering because of their loved family members serving in the military. The star is used to honor all of the sacrifices that they are making indirectly for this nation. This anchor is used for love. In real life, an anchor is used to stop a ship and give it a sturdy foundation. This can be used in this context to show us how the veterans are our country's anchors. They fight and show strength to act as the pillars of our country.
