Veterans Commission

I’ve created a pin design with three eagles carrying the American flag. Since the time I was informed about the pin competition and how we get the honor to create pins for veterans, the first thought that came to my mind was the bald eagle. Our nation took the bald eagle as the national animal because it symbolizes strength, courage, freedom and has many other significant meanings tied to this bird. I also took note of our national flag to represent the pride of this country and the countless veterans who fight for America. This pin honors all the veterans who serve the six branches of the military. As I spend my time on these pins, I hope whoever sees my small token of gratitude will understand how much we appreciate their sacrifices.
