On my pin, I used a pentagon for the background and I painted it in gold. I chose a pentagon because I think the shape of a pentagon is similar to a winning metal. A winning metal is a reward and it means to award all of the Veterans’ contributions to our country. Then I added a blue circle. On the blue circle, I wrote “Thank you VETERANS” in white. The meaning was that all Americans have to thank Veterans because if they didn’t fight for us, we wouldn't have this current lovely country. In the end, I drew some heart shapes on the lower part of the pin which were in red, blue and white colors that represent our U.S. flag. As I just said, we always say in our heart, “Thank you Veterans!”
