Thank You Vets

My pin design is simple but has a lot of meaning. The first thing you’ll notice when you look at my pin is the words, “Thank You Vets”. This is to thank all the veterans who have served in the different branches of the military. The next thing that you see is the six white stars. Each star represents a branch of the military, this helps show that we honor all veterans no matter their branch. Finally, you’ll look down and see the thirteen red and white stripes. Each one of these stripes represents one of the original colonies and the brave soldiers that fought for our country's independence in the revolutionary war. The soldiers who fought in that war are the original veterans and should be remembered as well. Even with all of this underlying meaning the pin still comes together to look like a small-scale United States flag.
