Pin project

To honor veterans I made a pin as a shield because I used the word protection to represent them. A veteran shows protection by giving safety and defending citizens. The words "love," "freedom," "power," and "happiness" alongside images make my shield. I utilized a heart as a symbol of "love" because love means appreciation and gratitude which shows how much we appreciate veterans. In order to symbolize what veterans offered us the word "freedom" with an image of wings symbolizes hope, strength, and support. I used a lightning bolt representing power capturing how strong and forceful veterans are. Lastly, I used "happiness," symbolizing a star that depicts rewards veterans receive for their service to our nation, like medals and pride. These words show what veterans have sacrificed for us and how grateful we are for them by giving us the phrase I used in the middle “land of the free”.
