Veterans Pin Submission

For my pin design I chose an American flag. There are thirteen stripes on the real one, but mine only has seven. The thirteen stripes on a regular American flag represents the first thirteen colonies. Our flag has three colors, red, white, and blue. Some may not know that they actually mean something. Red means hardiness and valor. White means purity and innocence. Lastly blue vigilance, perseverance, justice. Then the 50 stars represent the 50 U.S states. But my design has three stars that are all different sizes. The top is the biggest and it’s red. The second is medium sized and it’s white. The final star is the smallest and it is blue. The bottom of it has some text. It says #Team USA. To me that symbolizes that we are supporting our country and the choices some make to benefit it.
