Veterans pin design submission

My pin design was focusing on all the fallen, lost, or corrupt soldiers. The base of the pin is the section of the American flag where the stripes and stars meet. This represents all military branches since that is who they serve and fight for. There is a black border representing the dark times in a service members’ career. There is a black flag in the middle of the pin showing the strength of all active duty, reserve, and veterans. On the flag there is text in yellow letters which represents the light, bonding and positive moments in their career. The words read “Honor the Fallen” stacked on top of each other. The message is simple and easily understood. My pin is to remind them of their career, past or future. Also, to remind them of the good moments which came with the bad.
