We Appreciate You Vets

My pin design's color scheme is the basic red, white, and blue that we often see in American themes. The words, “We Appreciate You, Vets,” mean exactly what they sound like. Veterans are often left feeling unappreciated. There is no better way to tell them how much we value them than just saying it. They don't need fancy pins with stars and stripes to understand our appreciation. Now, I’m sure most are aware of the significance of the American flag. Each of the 50 stars signifies a state and 13 interchanging stripes represent the colonies. The American flag represents all that the veterans defend and have earned for this country. We have our freedom, because of what the veterans have sacrificed, otherwise, there would be no United States of America. You can look at my pin and be able to immediately understand the meaning.
