Veterans Pin

My design for the Veteran’s Pin is about honoring every branch of the U.S. military. On my pin, I have a soldier saluting to represent respect for veterans. I also have a poppy flower on my pin. The reason I put the poppy on the pin is because it symbolizes remembrance and hope for a peaceful future. I added the six military branch symbols, the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force, Marine Corps, and the Space Force. This is to show that no matter what branch you are in, we respect you. Lastly, my pin has the American flag. It shows the pride of being an American, and serving for our country. “Our flag is the symbol of the things we as Americans hold in our hearts and minds.” - Anonymous Veteran
