Veterans Pin Submission

I made a heart-shaped pin. The heart is purple, representing Veterans who were wounded and killed in action. Purple hearts are a big deal when it comes to honoring our Veterans. That’s why I made it my base. I also included five stars, representing the six branches; Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Marine Corps. I decided to represent all of them because they all make a difference in America. They all have different skills they use to fight in brutal terrain. I also added a circle around it to represent protection. Veterans do everything they can to provide support for veterans. They provide us with care and help to get through sorrowful times. Finally, I added the word ‘freedom’ in the corner of my pin which represents the privileges they bring to us at the end of the battle.
