Veterans:True American Heroes

Veterans are American heroes. I wanted a veteran who wears my pin to feel appreciated and proud of being a veteran. I chose to put the word “HERO” because that is simply what a veteran is. They give their life for our country to be free. I chose to write hero in blue because it symbolizes loyalty and perseverance. The white background represents never forgetting what they have given for our country. I wanted my pin to be simple and the word hero to really stand out. I added stars because they are such an iconic symbol of the military. Finally, I added a heart to show the love and appreciation the country feels for veterans. I hope that a veteran would feel very proud to wear my pin and really feel that they are a true hero.
