Stars of Appreciation

Veterans deserve to be honored because they sacrificed their lives for the freedom and safety of all Americans. They left their friends, family, and their own life knowing they might not return. People that serve in the military don’t get to enjoy getting off of work and watching a movie on the couch, instead their life becomes the movie, they are getting themselves in life or death situations everyday. They become the hero that saves them. But in their movie the hero doesn't always live. (OR Their movie doesn't always have a happy ending) The heart is the base because it shows love and appreciation. The stars are for all 50 states. The blue stands for the loyalty and perseverance that veterans have. Red devotes fortitude and courage. Gold is dignity and honor. All of this is in a veteran.
