The Flag

The purpose of my pin is to show the importance of the most recognizable identifier of our country. Our flag. To show appreciation to our veterans, I decided to remind us all the symbol many veterans risked their lives or died for. To respect a country and a symbol so much is admirable, especially putting oneself through a hellish war, it only adds to the respect we owe to our veterans. I hope that among this new generation and the changing times, the disrespect our country, veterans, and flag see these days end soon. The flag represents our freedom and the brutal fight our soldiers had to go through in order to secure it. The lifestyle that you live that insults his family’s existence is only made possible because of the fight that he led.
