Stars and Stripes

Veterans should be honored because they fought and they risked their lives for us. They did so much for our country and so much for the people in the country. They did not know if they were going to come back home and they might not even see their family again. Veterans should be honored for what they did in the USA. I chose the flag because it means that people are proud of our history. Then I chose a heart because it means love, joy, appreciation, and gratitude. The last thing I chose was a star because it is on a lot of things like flags, metals, logos, and more. I chose blue because it symbolizes loyalty, vigilance, perseverance, and truth. Red means courage, zeal, and fortitude. White means to allude to deeds worth of remembrance. Those were all the colors I chose.
