Recognizing the coast guard.

My veteran pin celebrates the coast guard. I chose to make my pin celebrating the coast guard because I feel that they are a very important branch of the army and may be overlooked. I am very thankful for the people that protect our shores. In my pin, I included two people in boats. One person is in a sinking boat and the other is in a white boat. There is a rope connecting the two boats. The rope symbolizes the connection all people have. It shows that everyone is interconnected and everyone should always be kind to one another. The person in the white boat is a member of the coast guard, and the other person is someone being saved. Our coast guard is constantly protecting everyone. I am very thankful to all our veterans for protecting our country.
