Star-Spangled Pin

This pin is to honor veterans, so I wanted to represent the U.S. flag with the colors and use them for the pin. I wrote “THANK YOU” because I’m grateful for what they have done for the country, so much sacrifice and hard-work that was put into protecting the nation in order for us to feel safe and protected. I placed many stars as a reference to the U.S. flag and because if it weren't for them, we wouldn't be able to see a night full of stars. Saluting an active service member or a former military member is a sign of respect within the military and I thought placing a silhouette of a soldier saluting would be a good idea since it's better recommended that they do so rather than a civilian. The color for the outside of the pin is gold to represent their gold hearts.
