The Thank You pin

My pin has a simplistic design to it with a big message behind it. I got inspiration for my pin from looking at the purple heart medal given to service men and women who have greatly sacrificed themselves, or paid the ultimate price, while in the line of duty. With that shape in mind I also included an American flag in the back with the words honor, loyalty, courage, commitment, and respect written on the strips. Which all service members can relate too. Lastly the smallest detail with the biggest message behind it. The dog tags at the bottom with the words thank you are a way to commemorate all those service men and women who have died and also as a way to say thank you to all the Veterans still alive.
