Without our Veterans

Veterans have previously served in the military and need as much respect as our current servers, especially on Veterans Day. I made a pin to show how much appreciation I have for veterans. Firstly, there are 2 dog tags, and the words on them combine to make “proudly served.” The hope was to make veterans think about how proud they should be of themselves for serving this country and protecting it. Second, the 5 stars represent the 5 different branches of the military and show that all servers will not be the same and choose different paths. Thirdly, the 13 stripes represent the 13 stripes on the American flag, showing how far we have come with the help of the military. In conclusion, veterans should be well respected as current military servers get, and they need to be praised for the hard work they have done.
