Thank You Vets!

For my pin, I decided to create the American flag with wording that says “THANK YOU VETS!” The reason I chose the flag as a symbol is because it represents our country and what these veterans fought for. While I could not find room for all 50 stars, I included as many as I could to represent all the states. I included all 13 stripes to represent the 13 original colonies which started the United States. This holiday is celebrated on November 11th of each year. It is to honor people who have been in the military or people who are serving. All my shapes and text represent veterans day by showing either unity or appreciation to veterans. By saying “THANK YOU VETS” it shows that anybody who supports veterans can wear this pin. Past veterans, people who are serving now, or people who just overall respect people serving.
