American Flag

I think veterans should be honored because they fought, risking their lives for our freedom. Even though not all veterans fought in wars they should still be honored because they would have fought if they had to. What makes a veteran so special is their bravery. The symbols that I chose are stripes and stars. I chose stripes and stars because they are on the American flag and that was my pin design. The stars represent the 50 states and the stripes represent the original 13 colonies. The colors that I used were red, white and blue. The red symbolizes importance and superiority. The white symbolizes purity and innocence, and blue represents vigilance, perseverance and justice. I chose these colors because they are on the American flag.
