Our Turn to Serve Them

For Veterans day, the children of America were given the challenge to create a pin to honor those who served America. American veterans went through so much pain and so many challenges in order to keep their country safe. Now, it's everyone’s turn to serve them. The pin had a few ideas behind it, hearts to show compassion and something to represent America. To begin, a giant heart was created to represent America’s love for their veterans. Red, white, and blue are the colors I used to represent the American flag. Red represents valor and hardiness, blue represents vigilance and perseverance and white represents innocence and purity. To represent America, two white stars were also added, one to represent the fifty states, and one to represent the five U.S territories. Once again, Thank you Veterans for serving the United States of America!
