The Heart of America

My badge displays how we, citizens of America, love and adore our veterans. This is why the shape of my badge is a heart. We love our veterans for their bravery, patriotism, and the sacrifice of their time with their family and life to keep this country and its people safe. Instead of listing out every single word that describes them on my badge, I condensed my appreciation in simple words: we salute your service. My badge has three colors in it -- red, white, and blue. The reason I picked these colors for my badge is to represent the colors of the American flag. The highlight on my badge is the American flag, which our veterans love more than their own heart.
