holding up society

My veterans day pin was inspired by all the veterans who risked their lives so that everyday society could function. My pin shows people on the bottom holding up a city, which represents the military holding up society in the US. My use of colors represents the triumph and the sadness that our military goes through when going to different countries and missing their families while risking their lives. The colors I put on the upper city represent happiness and the gratefulness for our veterans and our safety that they give us. I am grateful for our veterans service and their continuous triumph in foreign fields, and I hope my pin shows that.
