My veterans day pin was inspired by all the veterans that risked and sacrificed their own lives to win our freedom. The spikes represent the pain the soldiers went through when fighting for our freedom. The podium represents victory. The stars are yellow because yellow represents that they are happy they won, the pain is no more. The blue also represents sadness of the war, the struggle.
