Veterans Day Essay

My veterans day pin has a lot of significance. I want veterans to feel appreciated while wearing my pin and others to be thankful for all they did for our nation. This pin isn't just something to wear as an accessory every color and detail means something. Like the color white means purity. The color red stands for the bravery they had to be able to fight for our country. The stars stand for the 50 states they fought for and the 13 stripes standing for the original 13 colonies. I am very thankful for all they did and how hard they worked to keep us safe. These veterans risked their lives to keep us safe in many different ways. I think we should all wear this pin to show how much we appreciate the veterans. I also believe everyone, especially veterans, should be able to wear my pin.
