Veteran's Day Pin

My Veteran’s Day Pin is inspired by the Vietnam War. The words on my pin are “Our Unsung Heroes.” The reason I included those words was because many Vietnam Veterans were not treated like war heroes.The pictures I included on my pin were: A helmet, a M16, etc. Celebrating Veterans Day is important to me because brave people have sacrificed so much for our country. I was motivated to create a pin like this by my grandfather’s service in the army during the war. I hope that my pin makes the Veterans feel appreciated because not many people supported the war, but even if they didn’t they could’ve at least supported the men and women who took up the call to service. My aim is for the veterans who see it and show them that freedom is not easy to keep without the army.
