Poppies for Remembrance

My pin contains multiple aspects, such as the main focal point being the poppy. A poppy resembles remembrance and hope for a peaceful future. Poppies are also prominent symbols that show admiration and respect. My motivation to create this pin was a painting that my grandfather was given after he came back from serving in Vietnam. It contained a poppy and a fighter jet. I’d always admired this painting growing up and what it stood for. This vast amount of recognition that this pin can give allows it to be meaningful and sentimental toward veterans.
