My entry for my pin has a lot of meanings. The shield is a sign of protection and how our troops help protect us. The dove and the basil leaf are both symbols of peace and love which our veterans help maintain. The wings are a sign of freedom which our troops fight hard to keep. My project is color coded: the gray color is for the Navy, the gold color being for the Air Force and white for the Army.
